New laws affecting Utahns’ everyday lives get processed at a breathtaking rate every winter. Legislators bring up bills affecting:

The session starts on January 21st and concludes at 11:59:59 pm on March 7th. In between we can expect about 900 bills.

Advocacy Mixer Jan 22nd 11:30am
Come meet people working on issues you’re concerned about. We’re holding a mixer on the Capitol Steps on the second day of the session, just as things are taking off inside. Be welcomed by former legislators Rep Marsha Judkins (R) and Rep Rosemary Lesser (D) and then network with seasoned advocates to learn from or coordinate. Find strength in community.
